The clients had a clear vision in mind, but just needed the right craftsman to properly execute their dreams. They knew their overall layout just needed a little reconfiguring minus the pesky load-bearing wall. We were able to really open up the space including multiple entertaining areas. The rooms needed to be brightened up by both natural and artificial lighting, and so we selected bold pops of color with an otherwise neutral palette. The beautiful grain matching was hand selected and really exemplifies the level of detail put into this remodel.
By blowing out the wall between the kitchen, living room, and dining rooms, there is now a great space for hosting their families and friends. We moved the cooktop to the exterior wall because it was cramped in between the sink and refrigerator. We also replaced the small window above the sink with a 10-foot window to allow for a view in front of the sink and cooktop. By moving the cooktop to the right of the kitchen, we elongated the working triangle to allow the space to be used by multiple people at a time. The cabinets chosen were a stunning European style with custom grain matched doors and panels that go all the way to the ceiling. This midcentury modern design is refreshing and matches the design aesthetic with the client's decor.

Hiding the microwave in the island takes one less appliance out of our sight and allows us to focus on the open-concept room.

Not having the wall breaking up the two spaces, allows them to compliment each other aesthetically and makes much more sense for the lifestyle of the clients.
