The clients wanted to remodel a bathroom for two young kids that was playful, but also grown-up enough for a guest bath.
We created a beautiful sea themed design with clean lines, bold pops of color, and fish scale accent tile. We installed a new wood vanity, accent lighting, and champagne bronze hardware and fixtures that warmed the room up and made it the perfect oasis for the kids to escape in.
The layout was not an issue on this small hallway bathroom, so we did not try and re-invent the wheel. A bathtub was necessary in this bathroom for the young kids.
Under the Sea Enchantment
We added a fun pop of color with the aqua subway tile along the wall and the fish scale tile along the back shower wall and in the niche. An accent mirror was added to break up the space and create a more stylish and modern look.

The new gold sconces on either side of the accent mirror add an enchanting and whimsical style to the bathroom. The champagne bronze towel hook adds a more modern approach to a towel ring while remaining a functional place to put a hand towel.

We built a shower niche to hold shampoo and body wash bottles that was specifically placed so the kids could reach.

We scaled down the decorative mirror to a more manageable size and replaced the medicine cabinet with one that has a solid door. We custom designed a bi-fold shower door so that it was still easy to bathe the children, and gives it a neat and tidy look.

By adding the new champagne bronze shower system, this gives the bathroom a beautiful accent and function in one. It's equipped with a hand held shower for the kids to use.
